Dr Brian Symon, The Babysleep Doctor
Dr Brian Symon is The Babysleep Doctor. He has more than 30 years’ experience working with parents and babies experiencing problems of sleep, feeding, growth and behaviour.
He is a Specialist Medical Practitioner with a MD (PhD) in infant sleep who has been working with mothers and babies since 1995.
While working as a rural general practitioner (family physician), infant wellbeing had always been of interest to him. But it was the birth of his own children and his experiences as a parent which awoke his passion for infant sleep and its profound effect on family and baby wellbeing. It became the focus of his medical practice.
Dr Symon is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Medical Board) as a specialist medical practitioner and is well published in the field both nationally and internationally.
The Babysleep Doctor, Dr Brian Symon, has been a family physician since 1978. He lives in Adelaide, South Australia, where his practice has evolved to be exclusively about infant sleep and the care of young children.
All four of The Babysleep Doctor’s own children have now left home and Dr Symon and his wife Maryanne spend time visiting them and their seven grandchildren in various states of Australia and countries of the world.
