Dr Georgie Crichton has a PhD in Health Science. She has worked extensively in the United States and in Europe, with some of the world’s leading researchers in the areas of nutrition, cognition and cardiovascular health.
Her current research interests are in infant sleep, nutrition, and the psychological well-being of mothers. Georgie is also consulting patients in The Babysleep strategy, assisting parents of infants who are experiencing sleep and feeding difficulties. She provides individualised management plans and behavioural strategies to best suit the needs of both infant and parents. Georgie is also the mother of two small children.

Mandy is a mother of two boys. She has almost 10 years of experience as a midwife in both the public and private sectors and has recently obtained status as an ‘eligible midwife’ with prescribing rights and Medicare eligibility.
Mandy’s role is to provide support, to encourage, to understand and respect every mother. The early weeks of life are times of huge change and there are very different philosophies taught to mothers which adds confusion to a complex time. Mandy teaches practical philosophies which improve feeding, growth and optimize sleep while respecting the choices parents make.
Mandy offers home visits. After being in hospital and experiencing the excitement of welcoming a new baby into the world, when a new mum heads home with her baby, there are often many questions and uncertainties about their new life together. As a home visiting midwife, Mandy visits the new mum in her own home, thus avoiding the hardship most mums have of organising babies, and often toddlers too, for an outing to attend an appointment. Mandy also assists the new mum with not only the professional attention she requires, but also the support and encouragement she deserves.
