The Babysleep Doctor team

Dr Georgie Crichton

Dr Georgie Crichton has a PhD in Health Science. She has worked extensively in the United States and in Europe, with some of the world’s leading researchers in the areas of nutrition, cognition and cardiovascular health.

Her current research interests are in infant sleep, nutrition, and the psychological well-being of mothers. In collaboration with Dr Brian Symon and the University of South Australia, she is now leading the Infant Sleep Trial, to examine the effects of a behavioural intervention on sleep, crying and growth in infants.

Georgie is also consulting patients in The Babysleep strategy, assisting parents of infants who are experiencing sleep and feeding difficulties. She provides individualised management plans and behavioural strategies to best suit the needs of both infant and parents. Georgie is also the mother of two small children.
